People often ask me what is Chiropractic Cranial…
As a practicing chiropractor for 23 years, I have been exposed to many techniques for helping my patients. Spinal techniques, extremitiy techniques and cranial techniques. Early on in my career and schooling I was exposed to cranial work. I didn’t give it much thought until about 5 years ago when I was trained in Bio Cranial. I taught Bio Cranial for a brief period of time and was even named 2007 Bio Cranial practitioner of the year. I fought for the right to practice Bio Cranial in California.
Now after all the fighting and a compilation of all that I have learned over the past 23 years, I am a “chiropractor” doing “cranial” work — hence Chiropractic Cranial (and Chiropractic Spinal and Chiropractic Extremity).
Many people say that they want to do something “their way”. I have learned over the years that there is no such thing as your way — your way is ALWAYS a compilation of things you have learned and picked up along the way.
I would like to thank, Dr. Nephi Cottam, Dr. William Garner Sutherland, Dr. Magoun, Dr. Upledger, Dr. De Jarnette, Dr. Boyd, Dr. Doreste, Dr. Blye, Dr. Koren and one of the most creative chiropractors ever, Dr. Ray Weltch.
p.s. Many times the teacher learns from his students — thanks, Guy, Sky, Phil, Jill, Janice, Matt, Alex and Dr. Google (where would I be without you)
p.p.s. Chiropractic Cranial is not a technique — chiropractic cranial, is simply a chiropractor that emphasizes cranial work on his patients.
Finally, an issue that I am passionate about. I have looked for information of this caliber for the last several hours. Your site is greatly appreciated.
