Chiropractic Cranial – What is it?

People often ask me what is Chiropractic Cranial…

As a practicing chiropractor for 23 years, I have been exposed to many techniques for helping my patients. Spinal techniques, extremitiy techniques and cranial techniques. Early on in my career and schooling I was exposed to cranial work. I didn’t give it much thought until about 5 years ago when I was trained in Bio Cranial. I taught Bio Cranial for a brief period of time and was even named 2007 Bio Cranial practitioner of the year. I fought for the right to practice Bio Cranial in California.

Now after all the fighting and a compilation of all that I have learned over the past 23 years, I am a “chiropractor” doing “cranial” work — hence Chiropractic Cranial (and Chiropractic Spinal and Chiropractic Extremity).

Many people say that they want to do something “their way”. I have learned over the years that there is no such thing as your way — your way is ALWAYS a compilation of things you have learned and picked up along the way.

I would like to thank, Dr. Nephi Cottam, Dr. William Garner Sutherland, Dr. Magoun, Dr. Upledger, Dr. De Jarnette, Dr. Boyd, Dr. Doreste, Dr. Blye, Dr. Koren and one of the most creative chiropractors ever, Dr. Ray Weltch.

p.s. Many times the teacher learns from his students — thanks, Guy, Sky, Phil, Jill, Janice, Matt, Alex and Dr. Google (where would I be without you)

p.p.s. Chiropractic Cranial is not a technique — chiropractic cranial, is simply a chiropractor that emphasizes cranial work on his patients.

Welcome to the World of Wellness22

My name is Dr. Craig Ross — I am a Doctor of Chiropractic in Roseville, California (near Sacramento). Hopefully this blog allows you a view of my world; The World of Wellness22.

About 5 years ago my life was changed dramatically (I thought tragically); I fractured my arm in five places. Due to this injury, I was on a mission to find a technique to use that was effective on my patients and easier on me. I now truly look at fracturing my arm as a blessing in disguise, as I discovered cranial work at a seminar in Las Vegas. My World will never be the same and hopefully neither will yours.

The 22 in Wellness22 comes from the fact there are 22 moveable cranial bones. These bones being in balance is the key to unleashing the healing power of the brain. Check out my site www.Wellness22.com for more information on how it works.

I would like to thank Rufina and Ruben James for putting together my new website and this blog.
